Aurora’s roots go back to 1973, when entrepreneur Cliff Williams founded International Sensor Systems, Inc. (ISSI).

Over the decades, electronics technology, manufacturing methods, and customer expectations have evolved. But one challenge has remained remarkably consistent: manufacturers need suppliers they can depend on.

Cliff Williams built the business around customer satisfaction, professional integrity, and a commitment to quality. Those principles remain important to Aurora today.

As the company expanded its capabilities and shifted its focus toward custom PCB assembly, ISSI became Aurora Boardworks in 2023.

Today, Aurora Boardworks combines decades of manufacturing experience with modern PCB assembly capabilities to support OEMs across a range of industries.
