Brand Story
Whether you’re manufacturing parts for industrial, medical device, aerospace, agriculture, or anything in between, there’s a custom circuit board powering your products.
Helping you forecast and plan, anticipate and avoid problems, and deliver as promised. Your competitive advantage.
We’re fueled by mid-western values, a passionate agile team, and the relentless pursuit of uncomplicating custom circuit board assembly.
Our brand story embodies our customer’s hero state – technological advancement with a personal touch.
Before founding International Sensor Systems, Inc. in 1973, Cliff Williams was already an entrepreneur, recipient of a Letter of Commendation from the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA), elected member of three national academic honor societies, and worked with four Nebraska Governors to bring tech businesses to the state.
His long-standing business philosophy centered on dedication to customer satisfaction, professional integrity, and superior quality.
Over the years the business expanded and added capabilities, as technology has evolved in the electronics industry, and now specializes in custom circuit board assembly. To reflect this growth and shift in focus, ISSI became Aurora Boardworks in 2023.
With a culture and philosophy still firmly rooted in reliable innovation, care and creativity that nurtures trusted partner and customer relationships.

"Work hard. Tell everyone everything you know. Close a deal with a handshake. Have fun!"
